Aliko Dangote to discuss ways in which public and private sector can work together to improve the enabling environment for African entrepreneurs.

Additional panels on the day will include speakers from: International Finance Corporation; Afrexim Bank; European Investment Bank; AGENCE FRANÇAISE DE DÉVELOPPEMENT (AFD); United Nations Development Programme(UNDP); USAID and International Red Cross.

The largest entrepreneurship gathering in Africa will be a focus for intra Africa trade, building networks, sharing knowledge, connecting with investors, and linking with corporate supply chains. In doing so, we are enabling African SME communities to come together and expand the possibilities for intra-African partnerships.

Since 2015, we have supported 3000 Africa start-ups with training, mentoring, funding, and membership to Africa’s largest network of entrepreneurs. At the Foundation, we are committed to driving the economic transformation of Africa, through structured support to the continents entrepreneurs. We are equipping our entrepreneurs with the skills, networks, mindset, and values they need to succeed as the next generation of business titans.

The Foundation’s long-term investment in empowering African entrepreneurs is emblematic of Tony Elumelu’s philosophy of Africapitalism, which positions Africa’s private sector, and most importantly its entrepreneurs, as the catalysts for the social and economic development of the continent.
