Introduction
In 2017, at the Tony Elumelu Foundation, we launched the TEF Audio Stories – a series of podcasts focused on peer to peer knowledge sharing between entrepreneurs with first-hand experience of running their businesses across the African continent. Each week, I interviewed 2-4 entrepreneurs on different topics ranging from a day in the life of top entrepreneurs, investment, hiring, mentoring, funding and much more. In this series of posts, I invite you to listen and learn from these audio stories and transform your business.
Throughout an entrepreneur’s business life cycle, team building is an exercise that is crucial to the success of one’s business. Whether it’s a new business or an already established and thriving business; the need to create a new seat at the table will always occur at different intervals during the business life span.
On this podcast, Building Your Team, I speak to two dynamic entrepreneurs about their businesses, the importance of teamwork and group collaboration within an organisation and some of the criteria to consider during the creation of a team within a business.
